Residents of Asueyi, Mesidan, and Buoyem in the Techiman North District have expressed their gratitude to the government for addressing their longstanding road issues.
These residents have faced significant challenges due to the poor condition of the roads connecting their communities to commercial areas.
The bad roads have hindered the transportation of farm produce, access to healthcare, and increased vulnerability to robbery attacks.
Earlier this year, in April, during a tour of the Bono East region, the Minister of Roads and Highways, Asenso Boakye, promised to address these concerns.
Following this promise, a contractor was assigned to the roads, and significant improvements have been made, much to the delight of the residents.
During a recent inspection of the roadworks by the regional minister, residents expressed their appreciation to their parliamentary candidate, Martin Oti Gyarko, and the government.
Bono East NPP Chairman, Ibrahim Baba Bukari, assured the residents of the road’s completion and urged them to show their gratitude to the president by supporting him with their votes.
