An aspiring Assembly member for Mpeniase Electoral area at Akropong in the Eastern region has justified why residents should vote for him.
Mr Edmund Agyei Williams, is a young guy devoted to serving his people in diverse ways and has helped in doing a lot of things including clean up exercise, ‘Say No To Tramadol’ campaign and Communal Labour among others.
He has been on needs assessment tour in his community to know their needs and help them in numerous ways by providing them with chairs, plasma TV, ceiling fans, drying lines, street lights, bamboo chairs (Lovers Bench) dustbins, wiring and fixing of sockets at Presbyterian College of Education which falls under Mpeniase Electoral area. He has also started the construction of potable water system for his area.
He is a devoted Christian who has been helping God’s work. He is young, dynamic, trustworthy and friendly to all.
Mr Williams was a trainee for capacity building for youth aspirants for the District Assembly elections organised by the National Youth Authority in Koforidua.
He payed a courtesy call on the chiefs and people of Akropong during the Awukudae at Okuapehene palace to announce his vision for his community.
Mr Williams was a government appointee to the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly and was the Justice and Security Chairman.
