The National Chairman of the Opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has commenced a four-day campaign tour in the Volta Region today.
The tour, themed “Resetting Ghana: Jobs, Accountability, Prosperity,” is part of the NDC’s intensified nationwide retail campaign aimed at securing victory for the party’s flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, and the parliamentary candidates in the upcoming December elections.
Beginning in the Hohoe Constituency, Asiedu Nketia’s campaign will focus on energizing the NDC’s grassroots supporters, attracting undecided voters, and rallying broad support for the party’s transformational agenda.
Throughout the tour, Mr. Asiedu Nketia will engage with various groups, including traditional rulers, religious leaders, fishermen, traders, market women, okada riders, and the youth, to strengthen the NDC’s base in the region.
On Wednesday, October 9, 2024, he will visit Afadzato South, Kpando, North Dayi, and South Dayi Constituencies.
The tour will continue to Ketu North, Ketu South, Anlo, and South Tongu Constituencies on Friday, October 11.
The campaign tour will conclude on Saturday, October 12, with visits to Ho Central, Agotime-Ziope, Akatsi South, and Central Tongu Constituencies, where Asiedu Nketia will wrap up his four-day effort to consolidate support in the Volta Region.
