The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region has expressed gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for appointing two individuals from the region to key ministerial positions.
In a statement signed by the Ashanti Regional Communications Officer, Abass Nurudeen, the party lauded the nominations of Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak as Interior Minister-Designate and Kenneth Gilbert Adjei as Minister-Designate for Works, Housing, and Water Resources.
The NDC described the appointments as a reflection of President Mahama’s commitment to inclusivity and regional balance in governance.
“We wholeheartedly congratulate Hon. Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak and Hon. Kenneth Gilbert Adjei on their nominations. Their leadership, dedication, and competence make them ideal for these critical roles,” the statement read.
The Ashanti Regional NDC pledged its support to the nominees and called on all Ghanaians, particularly party members, to rally behind them to ensure their success in advancing the President’s development agenda.
The party also reaffirmed its commitment to supporting President Mahama’s leadership and vision for a better Ghana.

STATEMENT BY THE ASHANTI REGIONAL NDC ON THE APPOINTMENT OF TWO MINISTERS FROM THE REGION
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region wishes to express our profound gratitude to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the President of the Republic of Ghana, for the recognition and trust reposed in the people of our region by nominating two distinguished individuals to serve in his government.
