Asante Kotoko signs 11th player as recruitment continues ahead of 2024/25 season

Asante Kotoko has confirmed the signing of highly-rated midfielder, Samuel Tenadu in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Tenadu joins the Porcupine Warriors from Legon Cities on a three-year deal.

In an official statement to announce the deal, Kotoko in a post on social media said the defensive midfielder signed a three-year contract.

“Kumasi Asante Kotoko is delighted to announce the signing of Samuel Tenadu, a talented defensive midfielder from Legon Cities, on a three-year deal. The 21-year-old successfully completed his medical in Kumasi earlier this week and will be joining the squad ahead of the upcoming season,” the Ghanaian giant said in a post on X.

Samuel Tenadu has joined Asante Kotoko after playing for Ebony FC in Kumasi and Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League in the past.

His addition to the Asante Kotoko squad is to bolster the squad of the team after the club transferred Richmond Lamptey at the end of the 2023/24 football season.

Tenadu becomes the 11th signing as they prepare ahead fo the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season which is scheduled to kick off on September 6.

Kotoko will kick off their campaign with an away game against Karela United.
