Asante Kotoko vice-captain, Justice Blay has expressed his excitement after signing a new deal at the club.
The experienced midfielder has signed a new deal until 2026 as confirmed by the Ghana Premier League giants.
Speaking after signing a new deal, Blay said, “Kotoko is my home. I’m grateful for the trust the club has shown in me and the incredible support from the fans.
“I’m ready to continue giving my all for this badge,” he added.
Head of the Interim Management Committee (IMC), Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awuah highlighted the importance of Justice Blay to the club following a contract extension.
“Justice is not just a player; he’s a leader and a symbol of what Kotoko stands for. We’re thrilled he’s chosen to continue this journey with us.”
In the ongoing 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, Blay has featured in 12 matches, scoring once.
Blay first joined Kotoko on loan during the 2019/2020 season from Medeama SC, making an instant impact by scoring 2 goals in 12 appearances.
His impressive performances earned him a permanent move to the club in the 2021/2022 season, and since then, he has become a cornerstone of the team with 56 League appearances under his belt.
