Asante Kotoko captain, Frederick Asare has urged his teammates to maintain their focus after an impressive start to the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
The Reds currently sit in second place on the league table, boasting 14 points from six matches, with four wins and two draws, remaining unbeaten so far.
In light of this strong performance, Asare emphasized the importance of staying concentrated as the team aims for even greater achievements.
The Black Stars goalkeeper commended the players for their dedication and quality on the field.
“We are all happy with our progress and the quality we have shown in our games,” he told the club’s media.
“This is what the club deserves and each and every one of us will continue working hard to achieve the bigger objectives, but for now, we just have to keep our focus and take it game after game. However, I am impressed with the attitude of the boys,” he added.
In the upcoming fixtures, Asante Kotoko will face Legon Cities in a postponed match on Wednesday at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, followed by an away game against Basake Holy Stars for Matchday 8 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Stadium.
