Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed his strong desire to win the FA Cup, a trophy that has eluded him throughout his coaching career.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to face lower-tier side True Democracy in the quarterfinals on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the crucial clash, Narteh Ogum emphasized his determination to secure the title, highlighting that it remains the only major trophy missing from his collection.
“This competition is a very important one for me. I’ve never won it before coaching other Premier teams like Dwarfs, WAFA, even the first time I came to Kotoko and we won the league, we couldn’t make it beyond the first round, so it’s very dear to my heart.
“I’ve been able to coach to win the league before but the FA Cup I’ve not been able to do that, so it’s a motivation for me,” he added.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 19:00 GMT.
