Asante Kotoko has secured the services of Sampson Eduku on a one-and-a-half-year contract during the January transfer window.

Eduku, a skilled and experienced striker, previously played for Samartex and Tamale City.

Kotoko’s Head Coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, expressed his excitement over Eduku’s arrival, stating, “Sampson is a proven goal scorer with great versatility and experience.

His ability to find the back of the net and create opportunities for others will add a new dimension to our attack. We’re excited to have him join us and believe he’ll make an immediate impact.”

Eduku enjoyed a stellar 2022/2023 season, scoring 14 goals and providing 4 assists for Tamale City, which earned him a move to Iraqi Premier League side Al Quwa Al Jawiya.

There, he continued to display his goal-scoring ability.

Eduku becomes the second prominent forward to join the Porcupine Warriors, following the return of Kwame Opoku to the club in December 2024.

With his proven track record and experience, Eduku is expected to make an immediate contribution to the club’s attacking strength.
