Asamoah Gyan scored his second goal in as many games but it was not enough for NorthEast United as they drew 2-2 with Goa in the Indian Super League on Friday.
Gyan who netted NorthEast United’s winner against Odisha last week grabbed his goal in the 54th minute.
The 33-year-old scored to cancel out Hugo Boumous’ first-half strike for Goa. A mistake by Goa player allowed Gyan to get to the ball inside the box and clinically place the ball into the far corner of the goal.Â
Redeem Tlang looked to have secured three points for NorthEast when he found the back of the net in the 74th minute but Goa leveled n the 96th minute through Manvir Singh.Â
