The 24-year-old has been a key figure for Bournemouth this season, maintaining a perfect attendance record.
His consistent displays have caught the attention of top clubs, including Arsenal, as his reputation continues to grow in the Premier League.
The award was presented to Semenyo on Wednesday afternoon.
This season, he has contributed three goals and one assist in nine appearances for Bournemouth, putting him just five goals away from matching his impressive tally from last season.
His form last year was strong enough to secure him a five-year contract extension.
Semenyo is set to continue his impressive run when Bournemouth faces Aston Villa at Villa Park on Saturday.
