Liverpool icon Steve McManaman has lauded Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo, calling him an outstanding player.
The 24-year-old has been in exceptional form for A.F.C. Bournemouth this season.
Semenyo played a pivotal role in Bournemouth’s impressive 4-1 victory over Newcastle United on Saturday, ending the Magpies’ nine-match unbeaten streak at St. James’ Park.
McManaman praised the former Bristol City forward for his all-around abilities, highlighting his knack for scoring goals, creating chances, and providing assists.
“Semenyo is an excellent player. He scores goals, creates chances, and also provides assists,” the Real Madrid legend said on Premier League Productions.
“He has developed and become a very good player for Bournemouth,” he added.
With seven goals already this season, Semenyo will look to maintain his strong form when Bournemouth hosts a high-flying Nottingham Forest on Saturday at the Vitality Stadium.
