Angry Agona West NPP members give police 24-hour ultimatum to arrest suspects

-

Angry New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters in the Agona West Constituency have issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the Central Regional and Agona Swedru Divisional Police Command.

They are demanding the arrest of suspects involved in the shooting of the Nasara Coordinator.

They warned that failure to act could lead to them taking matters into their own hands.

As previously reported by Adom News, Agona West NPP Nasara Coordinator Haruna Rashid was shot, and three supporters of Cynthia Morrison were injured after clashes between supporters at Agona Nyarkrom in the Central Region.

Speaking to Adom News, the angry party members claimed that a man named Adolf was among the suspects who poured alcohol on drivers, leading to the shooting incident.

The aggrieved supporters reiterated their demand, giving the Ghana Police a 24-hour ultimatum to arrest Adolf and his accomplices.

They warned that if the suspects are not apprehended, they will defend themselves.
