Ambulance case: You will be disgraced if… – Haruna Iddrisu tells AG

-

Former Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu has advised the Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame not to appeal the decision to acquit and discharge Minority Leader, Cassiel Ato Forson.

The Member of Parliament for Tamale South warned that the AG risks further disgrace if he pursues an appeal.

The court on Tuesday, July 30 exonerated Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson and reversed the trial court’s order for him to present a defense in the ambulance case.

While celebrating the Minority Leader’s victory in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu urged the Attorney General to accept the court’s decision.

“I hear the Attorney General, instead of swallowing his humble pride, is considering litigating this matter further. Mr. Speaker, we assure him that he will be further disgraced because this matter, if pursued, should be based on legally meritorious grounds,” he stated.
