Ambrose Edwin Nsarkoh has been appointed as the Deputy CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA), a strategic move aimed at bolstering the organization’s direction and operational effectiveness while supporting the government’s goal of enhancing the global competitiveness of Ghanaian brands and products.
Mr. Nsarkoh brings a wealth of diverse experience to the role, having held key positions in operations, human resources, and business development.
Most recently, he served as the Human Resource Manager at Bloj Company Limited from December 2022 to April 2024, where he successfully led efforts in managing HR functions and optimizing employee performance across multiple operational sites.
Prior to that, he was the Operations Support Superintendent at Rabotec Group of Companies, where his leadership in managing administrative tasks contributed to streamlining operations and enhancing overall efficiency.
In addition to his background in HR and operations, Mr. Nsarkoh has considerable expertise in development finance, having earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Development Finance from the University of Ghana Business School in 2012.
As he takes on his new role as Deputy CEO, Mr. Nsarkoh is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping GEPA’s strategies, with a strong focus on optimizing operational efficiencies and strengthening the export readiness of Ghanaian products.
“I am eager to collaborate with the talented team here at GEPA to drive sustainable growth, elevate Ghana’s export market to compete on a global scale, and fulfill our commitment to the Ghanaian populace, as well as supporting the President’s reset agenda,” he expressed.
A proud alumnus of Apam Senior High School and the University of Ghana, Mr. Nsarkoh also holds an MSc in Management and Human Resource Strategy from KNUST Business School, further underscoring his strong academic foundation in leadership and strategy.
