Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has described the leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah as someone with a shady character and “a crook”.
The NDC stalwart has had a running battle with renowned Prophet for quite sometime now.
A couple of years ago, he (Allotey) took umbrage at Rev Owusu Bempah’s assertion that “John Dramani Mahama will die if the President and his advisers do not take the necessary effort to reverse” a prophecy.

It was reignited last year after the outspoken preacher indicated that though he respects former President Mahama, “God says he can never be president of the country again”.
A few months ago, the NDC Central Regional Chairman passionately appealed to President Akufo-Addo to destroy a spiritual horn presented to him by Rev. Owusu Bempah.
He urged the president to distance himself and the presidency from his (Bempah’s) false activities.
His latest anger is borne out of the latter’s plea with Former President Jerry John Rawlings not to entertain or accept any apology from members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

In a radio interview Tuesday morning on Accra based Okay FM, Rev Owusu Bempah is reported to have said, if NDC members decide to approach him [Rawlings] to render an apology, for side-lining him as the founder of the party, he should ignore them, because they are disrespectful.
He further added that if NDC members were to pray fervently, God will reveal to them that it will take a longer period for them to return to power unless they begin to change their ways.

But contributing to a panel discussion on Wednesday’s edition of Peace FM morning show ‘Kokrokoo’ an angry Allotey Jacobs posited that the man of God’s pronouncements on political matters on radio and Tv clearly shows that he’s a fake man of God.
“He is a crook and a political prophet,” he fumed and ignored attempts by the host, Kwami Sefa Kayi to withdraw his comments which he (Kwami) felt were in bad taste.
