Collins Owusu Amankwah, Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia North, has cautioned politicians not to politicise the issue of the alleged coup plot currently under investigations.
To the politician, the issue is a very serious one and should be addressed as such.

ACP Agordzo has been charged with abetment to commit treason for his alleged involvement in the coup plot and has been held in the custody of the Bureau of National Investigations since Monday, November 4, 2019.
ACP Agordzo is set to face the court on Wednesday on the charges brought against him by the State.

“We joke with everything in this country, this is very serious. It is very sad that a group of people can meet and plot against a country to destabilise it,” he said on Hello FM.
He urged politicians no to lose track of the relevance of the matter since what is at stake is very significant.
“Once the matter is under investigations and people have been arranged, I don’t want to make any prejudicial comment, but let’s not make it a New Patriotic Party, National Democratic Congress issue as usual and lose track of the very issue at hand,” he added.
