Alhassan Yakubu-Tali resigns as ADB MD

Alhassan Yakubu-Tali has resigned as the Managing Director of Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB), effective Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

His resignation follows the nomination of a new Managing Director by the bank’s majority shareholder.

Mr Yakubu-Tali assumed the role on December 1, 2022, after serving as Deputy Managing Director from August 2017 to November 2022.

In a statement issued on February 6, 2025, ADB commended him for spearheading a two-year corporate strategy that significantly boosted the bank’s capital and assets.

The Board, Management, and Staff expressed appreciation for his contributions and wished him success in his future endeavors.
