Flagbearer hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Joshua Alabi, has refused to state whether he will campaign on the legacy of former President John Dramani Mahama.
Host of Ekosii Sen political talk show on Asempa FM, Osei Bonsu (OB), on Monday, April 30 asked Prof Alabi on his show whether he will campaign on the achievements of Mr Mahama.
But the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) said repeatedly that he would run on “the legacy of the NDC”.
“The legacy of the NDC is big”, he added.
“I will campaign on the legacy of the NDC and my vision”, the former Greater Accra Regional Minister said.
The professor has intensified his campaign for the flagbearership in recent times, insisting that the Nana Addo led administration is taking the country in the wrong direction.
“I am going to the Jubilee house in 2021 and will be Ghana’s president for 8 good years and so Ghanaians should watch out for me. I will make Ghana the Swiss of Africa when given the nod and I know I will win hands down”, he said.
“The president [Nana Addo] cannot fulfil most of the promises he made before coming to power”, he asserts.
