President Nana Akufo-Addo is set to commission over 80 educational projects today, November 21, 2024, nationwide.
This forms part of ongoing efforts to provide modern facilities designed to meet the diverse needs of students and improve access to quality education.
Akufo-Addo will lead the inauguration, which will take place simultaneously at both the district and regional levels.
The Ministry of Education has confirmed that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Education Minister Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum will join the President in officiating the events.
The ceremonies will be broadcast live on major television networks and social media platforms to ensure nationwide participation.
The educational projects cover a wide range of needs, from basic schools to senior high schools and technical institutions.
They include STEM-focused schools, E-blocks, and kindergarten facilities designed to support early childhood education.
Notable projects include Kpasenkpe Model STEM SHS in the West Mamprusi District, Accra STEM Academy in La-Nkwantanang-Madina, and Awaso Model STEM SHS in Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai.
Other projects include a 12-unit classroom block at Salem D/A Basic in Atwima Mponua and two-unit kindergarten blocks in communities like Fremasi D/A Primary in Assin South.
