Commenting on the Free Senior High School (SHS) policy, the spokesperson of the delegation noted that said “this flagship educational policy has brought huge relief to parents, guardians, and students across the country.
“We have the conviction that the policy will go a long way to ensure that students will have broader access to quality education which will guarantee for them, a better and more secure future.”
The delegation also expressed gratitude to the President for not reneging on his promise to restore the allowances for teaching and nursing trainees.
He added that the office of the Special Prosecutor will ensure that corruption and its allied effects, which have plagued the development of the country, will be mitigated considerably, and expressed hope that the 1-District-1-Factory policy and the 1-Village-1-Dam project will soon be implemented.

“These will help provide jobs for the teeming youth who have been rendered jobless over the years,” he explained.
President Akufo-Addo was grateful for the honour done him and commended the Kente Weaving Industry in Ghana for its contribution to our national culture and identity.
He assured the delegation of government’s commitment towards ensuring that, by the end of the four-year mandate, all other promises will duly be implemented.
