The La Constance Center for Global Health has refurbished and donated lots of library books to the Akropong Anglican JHS to establish a first class library for the school.
The donation presentation took place on Thursday, August 29 at the school auditorium in a rather impressive ceremony.
The books were received by Justice Akuffo, Head of the Akwapim North Education System.
Commenting on the donation, Dr Kwame Aniapam Boafo President of the La Constance Center for Global Health said he is committed to enhancing the potential growth of the students and that tomorrow’s leaders are born today and we owe it to ourselves to ensure their appropriate training. He thanked all Stakeholders who contributed to making this possible.
Dr. Boafo had also donated and set up a computer Lab and construct the walkway for the school.
Receiving the donation Justice Akuffo, the Head of Education in Akwapim North said he was impressed by the Corporate Social Responsibility activities of Dr. Boafo and thanked him tremendously.
The Headmaster of the school, Mr. David Asante was equally grateful.
Present at the function was Frankaatuhene of Akropong and Dr. Owusu of the University of Ghana among others.
The students exhibited a high sense of excitement and appreciation.
The program was impressive and well attended.
