The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Adansi Akrofuom, Maurice Jonas Woode, has appealed to the incoming government to prioritize the completion of ongoing projects initiated by the current administration.
During a courtesy call on the Member of Parliament-elect for Adansi Akrofuom, Mr. Woode emphasized the importance of continuity to drive development in the district.
Speaking to Adom News, he called on both political parties to work together for the progress of the constituency.
Highlighting specific projects, the DCE urged the incoming government to complete the Agenda 111 hospital, which is currently at the roofing stage.
He also stressed the need for the construction of the road network linking Obuasi to Akrofuom and its surrounding communities.
Additionally, Mr. Woode pointed out that some communities in the district continue to face challenges with electricity and telecommunication networks, urging the incoming administration to address these pressing issues.
He further noted that the Free SHS policy has led to a significant increase in student intake at Akrofuom Senior High School, resulting in accommodation challenges.
He appealed to the new government to consider this as part of its developmental agenda for the constituency.
The DCE concluded by calling for unity and collaboration to ensure the district’s continued growth and improvement.
