Ahafo Regional Minister and DCE inspect water station project in Abuom

The Ahafo Regional Minister, George Boakye, together with the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Asunafo South, Frank Aduse-Poku, have inspected the water station being constructed at Abuom to address the water crisis faced by residents.

The DCE for Asunafo South, who is also the NPP Parliamentary candidate, Frank Aduse-Poku, in an interview with Adom News, said the water station, funded by Safe Water and the District Assembly.

He said the project at a cost of 300,000 US dollars, is expected to supply potable water to over 400 households in Abuom and help resolve the water challenges faced by residents.

Mr. Aduse-Poku indicated that, the contractor has assured them of completing the project by October this year for it to be handed over to the community.

Meanwhile, the Ahafo Regional Minister, George Boakye, lauded Safe Water and the Nana Addo-Bawumia government for assisting residents of Abuom in gaining access to potable water.
