Ahafo MMDCEs urged to uphold President Mahama’s vision

The Ahafo Regional Minister, Charity Gardiner, has urged Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) in the region to remain dedicated to the development vision of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic.

Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony for six newly appointed MDCEs in Goaso, Madam Gardiner stressed that the president’s top priority is to pursue initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents. She called on the MDCEs to align their plans and actions with this agenda.

She told Adom News that the president’s confidence in nominating them, coupled with the overwhelming endorsement from assembly members during their confirmation, reflects the trust placed in them to deliver on developmental objectives.

Madam Gardiner also commended the chiefs for their consistent support for the MDCEs since the announcement of their nominations and appealed to traditional leaders to continue offering guidance to help drive progress across the region.

Addressing the gathering, the President of the Ahafo Regional House of Chiefs, Barima Twereko Ampem III, advised the MDCEs to approach their duties with dedication and urged them not to abandon uncompleted projects initiated by the previous administration, noting that doing so would only harm the interests of the people.
