Ahafo Minister inspects military camp constructed at Sankore

The Minister for the Ahafo Region, George Boakye, has expressed satisfaction with the contractor responsible for constructing the military camp at Sankore.

George Boakye, the Ahafo Regional Minister, stated his approval after inspecting the construction site.

He explained to Adom News that, the contractor’s ability to raise high-quality structures within one month is impressive.

The Minister encouraged the contractor to continue the good work and assured him that more opportunities will arise in the region.

Mr. Boakye also took the opportunity to thank Newmont for funding the project, which aims to stabilize peace in Sankore—a community previously noted for its violence.

Meanwhile, Asunafo South DCE, Frank Aduse-Poku, expressed optimism that the presence of the military camp and police command will lead to significant development in Sankore in the coming years.
