Energy Minister Boakye Agyarko has indicated that henceforth no individual is allowed to lift contaminated oil from the Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) Company Limited.
This forms part of interim measures put in place to ensure contaminated fuel does not find its way onto the market following the BOST scandal.
It will be recalled that in March 2017, some 5 million litres of substandard fuel was brought onto the market by Movenpinna Energy.
Responding to questions on the floor of parliament on Thursday, November 23, Mr Agyarko said the Ministerial Committee charged with investigating the scandal has not completed its work.
According to him, the report will be submitted to the house once completed and a white paper issued.
