A young lady who sustained burns in a fire incident at the 2022 Afrochella music festival on December 20 has been reported dead.

The victim, who was said to have been employed as a vendor at the festival, died on Monday, January 9, 2023.

The organisers of the event confirmed the unfortunate incident in a statement dated January 13, 2023, without much details.
