-

Nigerian rapper, Burna Boy, says he will donate part of the gate proceeds he will receive during his upcoming show in Cape Town to victims of the recent xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

The ‘African Giant’ has been marked as one of the musicians to grace the stage though many of the citizens, especially South African musicians, are against it.

Reports from South Africa say some artistes in the country have petitioned the Minister for Arts and Culture to exclude Burna Boy from the Africa Unite concert in the country.

It could be recalled that South African rapper AKA and Burna Boy were engaged in a scuffle during the xenophobic attack which saw many Nigerians suffer losses.
