Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has visited former Bank of Ghana (BoG) Governor, Dr. Ernest Addison, following a raid on his Roman Ridge residence by National Security operatives.
The operation, which took place at dawn on Wednesday, was allegedly led by Richard Jakpa, Director of Special Operations at the National Security Secretariat.
About 15 soldiers, according to reports, arrived in three separate vehicles and, wielding rifles, forcefully entered the premises.
They disabled the CCTV system before demanding that Dr. Addison lead them to supposed “vaults” hidden within the house and subsequently ransacked it.
They also made away with four of his six cars, which were later retrieved from the frontage of the Jokers Club in Labadi.
