Captain Asamoah Gyan achieved his long coveted half century mark of 50 goals for the team when he opened the scoring by the 10th minute. John Boye and Ebenezer Ofori followed with a strike each while Raphael Dwamena delivered a brace.

The match marked the first competitive game for Kwesi Appiah since his return as Ghana coach last month, and the three debutants among those who kick started a second stint for the coach were; Lumor Agbenyenu, Thomas Agyepong and Rahpael Dwamena.
Skipper Asamoah Gyan captained the side, which also featured his deputy Andre Ayew, Thomas Partey and Wa All Stars’ goalkeeper Richard Ofori in post,
