-

Ghana’s sole representative in the 2018 CAF Champions league, Aduana Stars exited the competition after they were walloped  4-0 by Algerian giants ES Setif in the second leg at the Stade Mai 8 1945 on Sunday.
Aduana Stars who won the first leg at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park were hoping to secure their first qualification to the group stages only to be stopped by ES Setif who proved resilient at home.
ES Setif player Moray Benayad scored a brace in the game with  Akram Djahnit and Abdelhakim Amokrane making it 4-0 for the 2014 CAF Champions League winners.
Aduana Stars however will now compete in CAF’s second-tier club competition, the Confederation Cup.
