Operations manager of Dormaa-based Aduana Stars, George Gyawu has confirmed Coach Kenechi Yatsuhatsi has taken over from former manager, Yussif Abubakar. who parted ways with the club recently.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ultimate Sports Show, Mr Gyawu said management of the Premier League Champions have always monitored the Japanese international and believe this is the best time to employ him on a probation basis.
“It is true we have contracted Kenechi to manage the Club after Coach Abubakar’s exit and we have tasked him to help the team perform well in the ongoing CAF Confederations Cup competition on a probation agreement”, he said.
The administrator further explained that Kenechi has had stints with Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies where he was shown the exit door but Aduana Stars will work well with the expatriate so both parties are satisfied.
Aduana Stars will play As Vita club of Congo on the 18th of July hoping to grab their first three points in the group stages of the Africa Competition.
