Adom TV’s Nsoromma kids good at live band performance – Akwaboah

Musicians are expected to perform their songs live rather than mime during shows; an act which requires live band play.

Some are masters at it and others see it as a challenge which they tend to avoid because they don’t want to fumble in the process.

Singer Akwaboah, who sits in as a judge on Adom TV’s Nsoromma show and is signed onto Sarkodie’s Sarkcess record label, says some musicians have little experience when it comes to performing their own songs live.

Speaking at the Providence Events Centre where the Season 2 of the show took off on Sunday, October 27, 2019, Akwaboah lauded the first-ten contestants for a good live band performance, saying “there are some musicians in the industry who cannot even do what these kids are doing; I am being honest”.

“I am being honest; if you listen to what they sing carefully without auto-tune [processor] then it means Ghana has a future,” he said.
