The night was full of excitement when Kumawood stars blessed patrons who thronged the National Theatre for Adom TV’s Nine Lessons and Carols with drama of the birth of Jesus Christ.
Actress, Emelia Brobbey took up the role of Mary with Michael Afrane playing the role of her husband as Joseph.
The interesting Kumawood character who played the role of Jesus Christ was Yaw Dabo.
The rest of the characters such as Matilda Asante, Big Akwes among others played significant roles fused with humour that got patrons laughing throughout the drama.
They gave off their best as they played biblical characters as part of the staged Christmas play and later thanked the award-winning television channel on Multi TV for organising the splendid event.
