The Ghana Actors and Entertainment Awards on Saturday night honoured Adom FM’s Joyce Akumaa Dangotey-Padi, popularly known as Mama Zimbi, at an awards ceremony in Accra.
Mama Zimbi’s award, according to the organisers, Konamah Entertainment, is for her outstanding contribution to the development of the entertainment industry.

Mama Zimbi was honoured with a citation which the organisers believe will motivate her to keep having a positive impact on society.
The awards scheme, which is designed to reward hardworking actors and entertainers in the country, as well as bring together all stakeholders in the showbiz fraternity to promote healthy relationships, was graced by Deputy Works and Housing Minister, Barbara Ayisi.
