Adhoc refutes NPP Chairman’s claims of bribery to halt strike

-

The Adhoc Ministerial Committee on Illegal Mining has responded to recent statements made by Mr. Kwame Baffoe, the NPP Chairman for the Bono Region, who accused the leadership of Organised Labour of demanding money as a condition for halting their announced strike action.

In a statement, the Committee called for the public to disregard these accusations, describing them as baseless and unfounded.

The Committee asserted that no such demands or payments have occurred, emphasizing that their engagement with Organised Labour was conducted in good faith and without any form of inducement.

The Committee reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with all stakeholders to enhance efforts in combatting illegal and irresponsible mining practices in the region.
