The event, dubbed “Apata Kɛseɛ Mega Walk,” was led by Madam Vida Boateng, also known as Vidash, a private businesswoman and President of the group.

The walk was intended to highlight Akosua Manu’s initiatives in the constituency, particularly those benefiting women and mothers.

The organizers noted that since her election as the NPP candidate, and even before, Kozie has launched several projects that have had a significant impact on the community.

Among the initiatives cited were her efforts to start work on the Adentan Container Road, distribution of sanitary products to adolescent girls in public schools, and the provision of exercise books and Mother’s Day packages to female teachers.

The group also expressed appreciation for Kozie’s financial support to traders in the Adentan Market, where she provided GHC50,000 interest-free loans.

Additionally, they acknowledged her health and eye screening exercises, which have benefitted over 15,000 residents, and her donations to Muslim and Traditional Ga communities during festive seasons.

Akosua Manu who made a surprise appearance at the event’s conclusion at Adentan Barrier, thanked the group for their support.

She emphasized the importance of ongoing grassroots efforts to promote the work of the NPP, aligning with Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s message of possibility and progress.

The event concluded with the group pledging to continue their outreach efforts within the community to support the NPP’s campaign in the upcoming elections.
