Residents of Adenta and Madina in the Greater Accra region are planning to hit the streets over an unfinished footbridge.
According to them, in this year alone, 190 lives have been lost, particularly on the busy Ritz Junction, a situation the residents describe as worrying.

Charman for the coalition, fixourfootbridgesnow, Nana Ampomah on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem Tuesday, bemoaned how the government has turned a blind eye and deaf ear to their plight.
He explained that just yesterday, another person was knockdown by a speeding vehicle near the uncompleted footbridge.

“I think they want everyone to finish in Adenta before they fix this bridge otherwise I don’t know,” he bemoaned.
Mr Ampomah said the coalition fixourfootbridgesnow they have given a November 12, 2018, ultimatum to demonstrate their frustration over the six uncompleted footbridges on the Madina/Adenta/Aburi highway.
