The Member of Parliament-elect for the Adansi Asokwa constituency, Godwin Animli Dorgbadzi-Dorani, has donated hospital beds and other medical equipment to the Adansi Anhwiaso Health Centre to support the care of pregnant women visiting the facility.
The donation, which included three hospital beds and additional medical equipment, aims to improve maternal health services in the Adansi Asokwa district of the Ashanti Region.
Speaking to Adom News after the presentation, Mr. Dorgbadzi-Dorani revealed that he was informed of the health centre’s challenges, particularly the lack of adequate beds for pregnant women, during his campaign.
He expressed his commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery in the area, promising to construct a nurses’ bungalow to further support the facility.
The Senior Physician Assistant of the health centre, Able Nuhu Ndamani, expressed gratitude for the MP-elect’s proactive efforts even before his official swearing-in in January 2025.
He also used the opportunity to appeal for additional support, including a new children’s ward, street lighting, a tarred road to the health centre, and a functioning standby generator.
The donation marks the beginning of the MP-elect’s efforts to address the healthcare needs of the Adansi Asokwa community.
