Sammy Bimfo Darkwah, a New Patriotic Party parliamentary candidate for the Adansi-Asokwa Constituency in the Ashanti region, has declared he will be crowned victor in the primary scheduled for April 25, 2020.
To Mr Darkwah, he is hopeful of his victory because he believes the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP), K.T. Hammond, who is his major contender, has lost faith with the constituents.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show on Friday, Mr Darkwah, a former president of the National Union of Ghana Students, said Mr Hammond has never been appreciative of the efforts of his constituents in his parliamentary bid.

Meanwhile, Mr Hammond speaking on the same show, said he was begged to become MP in the constituency and questioned why the same people would want him to lose his seat.
