The Member of Parliament for Adansi Akrofuom, Joseph Azumah, has inspected a 24-kilometre road project currently under construction in the Ashanti Region.
The road, which stretches from Kojo Nkwanta in the Adansi Asokwa Constituency, passes through Biakwaso and Sikaman, and leads to Mensonso in the Adansi Akrofuom Constituency.
Following the inspection, Mr. Azumah expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project and pledged his continued support to ensure the contractor delivers quality results.
He also commended the contractor for employing a significant number of local workers, thereby contributing to the community’s economy.
“I am pleased with the progress, and I will continue to support the project to ensure that the contractor meets the set standards,” Mr. Azumah said.
The MP further assured that he would work closely with traditional authorities and other key stakeholders to provide the necessary support for the smooth execution of the project.
Bright Rhule, the site engineer from Limerica Ghana Limited, the company executing the project, shared that the road is expected to be completed within two years.
He clarified that although the road is being constructed using surface dressing rather than asphalt, high-quality materials are being used to guarantee durability.
