A multi-vehicle collision involving an SUV, a saloon car, and a Toyota bus has caused severe traffic congestion on the Accra-Tema motorway, specifically on the Tema-bound side.

The incident occurred between Toyota Ghana and the Axle Weighing Station, leading to significant delays for motorists.

Authorities have advised drivers heading towards Tema to take alternative routes to avoid prolonged delays.

This gridlock comes on the heels of a major traffic disruption on the same motorway last week due to a tragic hit-and-run incident.

Notably, this marks the third accident on this stretch of road in the past three days.
