PHOTOS: Congolese in Ghana march against political violence in their country

Congolese in Ghana have marched in Accra to protest against political violence and abuse of citizens’ rights in their country.
Leader of the Congolese in Ghana, Matel Gracia, said the president Joseph Kabila has failed to bring peace to country since he assumed power in 2001.

According to Gracia, President Kabila who has ruled for 17 years has brought political unrest to the country leading to maltreatment the killing of peoples.
“Rights have been violated and the interventions of president Nana Addo and former president Rawlings will help bring peace”, he observed.
He therefore called on Nana Addo and JJ Rawlings to intervene just as Nana Addo did for Togo recently.
Garcia believes the two are men of dignity and if they intervene, President Kabila will listen to them for peace to be restored in the country.

The Congolese say similar situation happened in Togo but the kind intervention by Nana Addo has brought peace to the country hence the need to call on him to come to their aid.
The political unrest in Democratic Republic of Congo has been going on for a while, the united State of Americas expressed worry about the happenings, hoping things will change but the opposite has been the case.
Hence, the decision by the Congolese in Ghana to call on the UN, AU and all Cooperate bodies to step in to ensure peace prevails in Congo.
