Newly appointed Asante Kotoko coach, Paa Kwasi Fabin, has expressed his joy over his new position.
The Porcupine Warriors parted ways with Steve Pollack last Friday ahead of the new season after failing to qualify the club to the next round of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup.
The former U-17 coach could hardly hide his joy after he signed as the club’s new trainer for the coming season.
He has vowed to work hard to become a success.
“I am delighted to be here; I promise to work hard to improve the team and get it to the level that we all can be proud of”, he stated.
Shortly after signing, the 57 year old met his Assistant Akakpo Patron and is expected to meet the rest of the technical team and the playing body today at the Adako Jachie training grounds.
Coach Paa Kwasi Fabin becomes the club’s 23rd coach since 2003.
Meanwhile, the 2017/2018 Ghana Premier League season is set to kick off on the 3rd of March and Asante Kotoko will begin the season away to West Africa Football Academy.
