The Minority Members of Parliament have consoled the family of late comedian, Asonaba Kwaku Darko, known in showbiz as Super OD.
The MPs presented cartons of canned soft drinks, boxes of mineral water and undisclosed amount as the caucus’ contribution towards the one week observation of the late member of the famous Osofo Dadzie Drama Group.
The Legislators also promised their full participation in the funeral.

The delegation comprised Agona East MP, Queenster Pokua Sawyerr, Kintampo South MP, Felicia Adjei and Obom Domeabra MP, Sophia Akuoko.
Others included Kpando MP, Dela Sowah, Biakoye MP, and Ampim Nyarko, MP for Asuogyaman.
The MPs were accompanied to the Agona Swedru residence of the late comedian by constituency executives and sympathisers from Agona East and West constituencies.

Super OD died at the age of 82 after battling with sickness for some time.
He was the key actor in the then Osofo Dadzie Drama Group that held the entire nation spellbound on Sundays in the 70’s and 80’s on Ghana Television.
The family communicated to the Legislators that the One Week observation of his passing will take place on Friday, 2nd March, 1988.
