Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale met the police over a video that surfaced online that he was firing a gun sporadically in public, his father has revealed.
The meeting was after the Police had revealed that they were taking steps to investigate the video of the dancehall artiste shooting into the air.

Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Police, ACP David Eklu had told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM that what Shatta Wale did in the video could amount to an offence.
Charles Mensah Snr, father of Shatta Wale, speaking in an interview on Showbiz Fylla on Hitz FM with Prince Tsegah said his son has a licence to use a gun.
He said the police spoke to his son about how and when to use a gun.
He, however, did not disclose whether Shatta Wale was charged for firing the gun in public.
