Ghana Premier League Champions, Aduana Stars made a losing start to the 2018 CAF Champions League tournament after a 1-0 defeat to Libyan side Al Tahaddy SC on Sunday.
The Ghanaian champions conceded in the opening minutes when Mahmoud Ali found the back of the net in the early minutes of the game in Cairo.
Aduana Stars after trailing the Libyans tried to get back into the match but could not get the needed connection to draw level.
The 2017 premier league champions will return to Ghana today to begin preparations for the return leg in a fortnight when they host Al Tahaddy at the revamped Osead3y) Agyeman Badu II park on February 19.
