Sensational musician, Kuami Eugene has advised Ghanaians to kill the perception that songs get old.
According to him, he couldn’t fathom why Ghanaians enjoy foreign songs regardless of the year there were produced but are quick to forget their own songs.
Asked if his latest ‘Confusion’ song will cause his hit song ‘Angela to die off, Kuami Eugene said “No it won’t be dead; It should not be like that.”

He continued that, “We should have the thoughts of playing old songs of artistes even when they release new ones. We are playing Davido’s old songs but he has new ones…” he said.
Kuami, therefore, advised Ghanaians to “cancel that idea. I think it is only Ghanaians who think like that.”
Nonetheless, he lauded the media houses and disc jockeys that make time to include his songs in their playlists.

“I think most of the radio stations I listen to, play my songs. They should keep playing Ghanaian songs. I think they are doing their work. They should keep up with it…” he told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM.
