IBO Lightweight Champion, Emmanuel “Game Boy” Tagoe, has challenged Interim WBO Junior Featherweight Champion, Isaac Dogbe, to a “Winner takes all” boxing match after he gets through with his fight against Mexican boxer, Magdaleno.
Shortly after his controversial win against Fernanado Saucedo last Sunday, Tagoe declared on UTV that: “I will beat Dogbe with just one hand and make him ordinary”.
He went on to say: “He has not fought any proper boxer; Dogbe’s record is no record; I will beat him any day, anywhere, anytime”.
“They should prepare very well because even if I train for just a month, I will still beat him”, he added.
The fight, should it happen, will be fought in the Super Feather Weight Division where both boxers will have to give more to be able to fight because they are in different weight categories.
Ghana’s Emmanuel Tagoe (28-1, 14 KOs) in a controversial manner stopped Argentina’s Fernando David Saucedo (61-7-3, 10 KOs) in round 10, last Saturday at the Bukom Boxing Arena to defend his International Boxing Organisation (IBO) Lightweight title.
However, the much anticipated bout failed to live up to expectations as both boxers failed to explode on the night.
The cash price on the bout was $200,000.
